Dear Potential Client,
It’s often difficult to find the right person to take care of your home remodeling. It’s even more difficult to hire someone you trust when you are faced with making critical decisions about your home. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself so that you are familiar with my background.
At a young age, before major cable networks existed, I very much enjoyed watching shows such as “This Old House” and “Yankee Workshop”. By the age of 15, my family recognized that I had a passion for building, and so, my grandmother bought me a contractor saw to build her garage cabinets. Of Course, I was completely thrilled to do so.
My interest in woodworking led me to take 3 years of cabinet making and carpentry classes at a local vocational-technical high school. After high school, I was hired at a custom cabinet making business. I started out sanding strips for refacing and eventually worked my way up to being a shop foreman.
After 12 years, I moved on to work with a private contractor, employed as a field supervisor, overseeing planning and renovations of kitchens, baths, custom built-ins, and additions.
Fast forward 10 years later, my interest and philosophy of home remodeling and customer satisfaction led me to proudly establish “Heavy J Construction”, my own business. I enjoy meeting new and prospective clients and building positive, low-pressure relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
Sincerely,
Joseph Augis “Heavy J”
